Kate is a lifestyle and natural light photographer based in Fourways, Johannesburg. Driven by capturing life in the moment, Kate believes that ‘love is in the details’ and strives for perfection in the quality of her work.
Taking photos for me means capturing and preserving a memory forever. I view life through the eye of a lens and to me, everything is a picture waiting to happen. Love is in the detail.

Capturing that time before baby makes their arrival and for now, is just a beautiful Maternity sessions are best done between 28-36 weeks at home or in an outdoor area.

Lifestyle newborn sessions are photographed in the comfort of your home. This ensures an authentic, lifestyle type nature of the shoot. I believe in capturing moments as if I were a fly on the wall, so my at home, newborn sessions are posed and prop free.

NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY
Slumberlings™ is a celebration of new life. A portrayal of the beauty and innocence of your newborn baby.
Shot exclusively in studio, this 5 hour shoot is an intimate, natural light posed session, focused exclusively on your baby. The result is a collection of fine art curated images of your precious bundle in a variety of poses and setups. Whilst the shoot is predominately baby focused, we do make room for parent and sibling images, should time allow. The studio has a parents only area which is set up for the new mom and dad to put their feet up, have a snack, read a book or simply take a very well deserved nap!
